Is there anyone who can satisfy all our needs?

Yes, only Krsna can satisfy all our physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Depending on other living entities to completely satisfy our needs is foolish and we will always feel lacking. Always keep Krsna as our eternal companion.

Keeping all eggs in one basket in this case is a good thing!

Amazing Analogies

Many Thanks for Srila Prabhupada for providing so many useful analogies throughout all his texts and lectures to hit the point home, am ever grateful for that.

  • Lust cannot be satisfied by any amount of sense enjoyment, just as fire can never be extinguished by constant supply of fuel.
  • Just as a strong wind can sweep away a boat on water, even one of the roaming senses that mind focuses on can carry away a man's intelligence.
  • A tortoise can wind up his senses and display them at any time for particular purpose. Similarly, senses of Krsna Conscious persons are used for a particular service of Lord and withdrawn otherwise.

  • The Lord is the constant companion of the living entity as Paramatma or the SuperSoul, and therefore He can understand the desires of the individual soul, as one can smell the flavor of a flower by being near it.

Depressed?

Stop thinking about yourself and start serving others. This is the only way to get out of depression without pills. I know it works!!

Humility is....

Not to think less of yourself but less about yourself and more about the object of love (Krsna).

Are you being honest?

Dishonesty happens due to attachment to fear.

Its a choice between good quality and self-preservation. It is easy to be a good person when circumstances are favorable to us. If things are rough, our normal tendency is to protect our self and we won't be afraid to be even lie or cheat.

Absence of fear is courage which leads to peace.

One principle to rule all others

Always Remember Krsna and Never Forget Krsna.

Daya-Bhak

For any situation, think that Krishna knows what is best for us. Inquire internally what is that Krishna wants me to learn from this situation and ask Krishna to give you wisdom to make you understand the purpose.
