Its a choice between good quality and self-preservation. It is easy to be a good person when circumstances are favorable to us. If things are rough, our normal tendency is to protect our self and we won't be afraid to be even lie or cheat.

Absence of fear is courage which leads to peace.

For any situation, think that Krishna knows what is best for us. Inquire internally what is that Krishna wants me to learn from this situation and ask Krishna to give you wisdom to make you understand the purpose.

Love everyone in relationship to Krishna. Love your mom, husband or friend in relationship to Krishna.

Even when expressing anger or crying or in pain, give it to Krishna and say I wish I cry for your love like this instead of a material one.

• Take a vow, say, chant 16 rounds first thing in the morning for 3 days or a week or 2 weeks or a month or a year.
• Hearing Lord's pastimes
• Association with positive minded devotees

Want another material life?

If you want another birth in this material life, then you must be wanting to be someone else. If we keep desiring to have the feature of someone else, say, tall or short, beautiful complexion or body, we are asking Krishna to give another life in this world with that kind of body. So be careful what you wish for!

What attracts Krishna?

Krishna is all-attractive but even He is attracted by sincerity of His devotees. Attaining pure devotional service is rare because the at this stage, the Lord is purchased by His devotee.

Remember, you are only a servant

Our eternal nature is to serve the Lord. We have to go to the temple as a servant of Krishna and be in the serving mood because the normal condition of man is to remain an eternal servant of the lord. Be on time to the temple just as a servant would and do not complain about things that are not to your liking.
